In 1992, Vincenzo Ilotte joined the family group, 2A SPA, which produces zippers and die-casting aluminium and zamac alloys.
As supervisor of the foundry division, Mr. Ilotte has led the company to be the first die-casting foundry in Italy and was a key figure in seeing the company become a major global player, with offices around the world. In 2011 the company was awarded the prize “Europe 500”. Today, the company boasts several patents and numerous collaborations.
From 1991 to 1992 he worked in Kolbenschmidt, in a French and a German plant, overseeing quality and logistics as assistant to one of the general managers. He then moved on to become the technical manager for Compagnie Générale des Eaux (now Vivendi), that runs the Parisian aqueduct (1,500 employees).
Since September 2014 he has served as the President of the Torino Chamber of Commerce has been a member of the Torino Chamber of Commerce Council since 2009. Mr Ilotte is an active member in the chamber community and also serves as deputy Vice President of the Regional Association of Chambers of Commerce, Vice President of Italy Unioncamere, and is a member of the Governing Council and of the National Committee of ICC Italy (International Chamber of Commerce), a member of the Assocamerestero General Council (Association of Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad) and a member of the World Chambers Federation Council Board.
Mr Ilotte has held numerous leadership positions within others associations: from 1999 -2001, he was President of the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Unione Industriale of Torino; in 2000 he was Vice President of AMMA (Aziende Meccaniche Meccatroniche Associate), then moved on to serve as Presdient between 2008 – 2012. He is a member of the Unione Industriale of Torino General Council, of which he was Vice President from 2008 to 2016. Since June 2015, he has held the title of President at the Unicredit North West Territory Council.
In the past, he was member of the Board of Directors of several companies, including Sagat, Italconsult, CMSP, Agenzia Torino srl. He has also worked in the financial sector, having founded Strategia Italia sgr, Ventura Finance spa and YUCO srl.
Mr. Ilotte holds a degree in mechanical engineering. He is married with three children and speaks English, French, German, and Italian fluently.
