Peter Brennan is one of IBM’s global leaders in the design, implementation and enhancement of Customs and Border Management Systems. He has a deep understanding of the complex processes required to move people and goods safely between countries, and is expert in many of the technologies found in government systems. Peter has over 14 years of experience working with Clients within the Customs and Borders domains, delivering complex technical solutions and business outcomes.
For the past 5 years, Peter has been IBM’s global technical representative for the development of international standards for the transmission of passenger data to Governments. He has been primarily focussed around involvement as a strategic partner of the IATA Passenger Data Interchange Standard Working Groups, specifically for the PNRGOV and PAXLST Message Types.
Peter is currently the Client Technical Advisor for the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, where he is responsible for developing and implementing the foundation capability for a new generation of threat assessment capabilities for the Department.
